Praying for one another

It was a bad day for some of my friends. And we pray for one another.
I love this, a prayer for another believer was unknown to me when I was meandering in the darkness of my pre-Christian life. The realization that we can and may do it, and that we do not need any special ceremonies and fanfares, was very special and wonderful.
So today I am praying, for all aching and suffering friends, for all fearing and insecure, for all lonely and sad, as well as for all happy and positive.
There are ups and downs, there are valleys and mountains, and there are needs and offerings.
We need one another, and we need prayers.

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives” (2 Peter 3:10-11)
