Simple thoughts about Paul

At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
(Act 26:13)

Simple thoughts about Paul.
What a blessing this special Apostle is to all of us who have lived AFTER the times of Christ. All the other Apostles, Christ's Disciples, had the gift of being there and seeing with their own eyes, of experiencing the Truth and rejoicing in the resurrection. Paul had no such history, his part was to BELIEVE, as is our part. Believe and obey, follow The Lord to the end, as he boldly did.
This man is a beautiful example for all Christians on their way to God. An example of hope, of Grace possibility for even the greatest sinner and enemy of God. Nothing is impossible for God, and that very thought lightens up some dark moments of every human life.

I have come across some hateful sites, written against Paul, really awful stuff. It really is hard to grasp the width of heresy and apostasy around us. The horrible truth is that there are people gullible enough to follow those wolves in sheep's clothing, in spite of any decent effort to stop them from going astray. They somehow like lies more than truth, as it is written...
Finally, very powerful verses:
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth (1Jo 1:5-6)
