Not bitter

When summer is everything BUT summer, the weaker at heart start to grumble and whine about the weather. When you add a severe cold and sore throats as a permanent two weeks long condition for all family members, one could cry in despair. We also had to travel a bit during this misery in order to celebrate one 81 years old man, my husband's father, and I tell you - four sneezing people with fever in a house full of guests, plus rain outside - is not a desirable combination.
The mother in this family, I, was safe with her laptop and mobile internet modem. The others took many naps and found some consolation in good food :)

Somehow I am not sad or bitter about this situation. Not this year.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(Phi 4:4-7)

This indeed is a rough time. Rejoicing takes courage. Some days I don't have it. Thankfully GOD is faithfully.
