Desiring God Ministries is an endless treasury of sermons, lectures, books, devotionals, and most of all - sound theology.
This is one of those gems I found over there.
What We Believe About the Five Points of Calvinism
- We experience first our depravity and need of salvation.
- Then we experience the irresistible grace of God leading us toward faith.
- Then we trust the sufficiency of the atoning death of Christ for our sins.
- Then we discover that behind the work of God to atone for our sins and bring us to faith was the unconditional election of God.
- And finally we rest in his electing grace to give us the strength and will to persevere to the end in faith.
On this refurbished site, (ht Tim Challies), a simple search for TULIP produced a very fine collection of materials. I am going to dig in later during the week.

There is a young fellow who is friends with my daughter who wanted to understand more about the five points of Calvinism and I directed him to Piper's summary. It was easy for him to understand, which was good.
